
The Advocacy Project provides independent advocacy for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

The Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability is a charity that is made up of 12 Partner Organisations who have joined together with funding from the Scottish Government to help people make the changes set out in “The same as you?”

Planning Together supports people with a learning disability and family carers to be involved in planning services across Glasgow through a network of local and citywide Planit groups, to enable users and carers to have a real say in shaping the services they rely on.

The Care Commission was set up in April 2002 to regulate all adult, child and independent healthcare services in Scotland. The Commission makes sure that care service providers meet the Scottish Government's National Care Standards and work to the quality of care.

LDAS is a national group of organisations concerned with learning disability which aims to influence public policy and raise awareness of the issues that concern people with learning disability and their carers. It works closely with the Scottish Parliament Cross Party Group on Learning Disability in order to achieve this.

Common Knowledge (CKUK) provides online learning, accessible information and social networking for people with learning disabilities.
