Support for Community Participation

As well as supporting service users to play a valued economic role in their local community, The Thomas Fortune Work Centre is a vital source of social support.  Many service users have little contact with other support services, and rely on the Centre to ensure that they get access to the services they need.  For many, the fact that they are part of the Thomas Fortune community means that they are able to continue living independently in the community.  The Centre maintains excellent links with statutory services, such as Social Work and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, in order to help coordinate this support.
