Alder Road

ENABLE Glasgow recognises the importance of providing a choice of living options for people with learning disability in the city. We recognise that some people continue to prosper in community living settings. Alder Road offers a group living option combined with best practice in person-centred support.  As with all our supported living initiatives, we emphasise service user involvement in the running of the service, and also seek the active involvement of friends and family members.  The project currently supports 7 people to lead very diverse and individual lifestyles. Each person has a different daily plan and staff support people to take part in individual mainstream activity and local community events.
